Zip Line

Our tandem Zip Line runs from a launch platform near the Climbing Wall that flies 600 feet along the edge of the Reservoir (Lake Neal). As opposed to zip lines that use manual cable brakes or use water to stop riders (by either sending them into a lake or having them release), ours uses a gravity brake system that slows riders by sending them uphill so they gently glide to a staff person on the other side. This type of braking system is considered an industry best-practice. If you have any questions about the Zip Line, please feel free to contact us.

Note: The Zip Line can be booked with or without the Climbing Wall. See Reservations for details or contact Shirley (706-864-6181 or info@glisson.org).

"Our son looks forward to camp all year long. He is already asking when he will be going back. We are so appreciative of the amazing job you do with our special kids!"
