Staff Training Information
For certain Summer Staff positions, additional training is required. If needed, these trainings are outlined in your staff contract. If your position does not require these trainings, but you are interested in becoming certified in these areas, contact David Schnitzer.
Summer Training Dates
Staff Training (Arrival Time 4:00pm)
- Support Staff: May 20, 2010
- All Outpost Staff: May 25, 2010
- All Spwd Staff: May 26, 2010
- All LIT Staff: May 26, 2010
- All Counselors: May 29, 2010
Crew Training (Arrival Time 4:00pm)
- CREW Training: May 29-June 5, '10
- Life Guard: May 30-31, 2010
- Challenge Course: June 2, 2010

Staff training begins before you arrive at camp. This allows more time for staff to become acquainted with protocols, history, and general rules; these online tests allow us to focus more on practical training once you have arrived on-site.
If you do not have the Login and Password to the secure pages of the staff web page email the Glisson Intern.
Crew Online Test:
Life Guard Certification Course
All Crew, even returning Crew from the year before, must complete the StarGuard certification course. There are two parts to complete in order to be certified as a StarGuard lifeguard.
- Part 1: Online Exam -- before arrival
- Part 2: Pool Practical -- during staff training
