We truly appreciate all that you did for our daughter. That you listened to her and let her talk through some of the things she is experiencing. Camp has been the one thing that she has looked forward to every year. God has spoken to her in that place.

Information needed to complete your registration

    Step 1: Health History

You will complete your camper’s health form online.*  The following information is required to complete the online registration.
    • The date of your camper’s last tetanus booster
    • Your camper’s doctor and dentist’s name and phone number
    • Your campers health insurance or Medicaid information

*Please Note:  If registering a returning camper from summer 2009, your camper’s health history is complete. You should update changes in health, medicines and doctor's contact info. You will be required to verify accuracy of the information with a drop down "yes" and your name.

Step 2: Cabin Mate Requests  (Not-applicable to Day Camps)

These policies have not changed since last year, but will continue to be enforced.  The following conditions must be met to honor any cabin mate request:
    • Campers must be registered for the same camp program and same age group, during the same week
    • Campers must request each other (groups of three or more cannot request each other) If a “triangle” has been requested, none of the campers' requests will be honored.

Step 3: Church Name and District

All North Georgia Conference United Methodist Church members will need to have the following information to complete the registration:
    • Church Name
    • Church District
During the registration process you will see a drop-down list of all North Georgia United Methodist Churches.  However, the church names are listed by the District in which they are located.  To find out which district your United Methodist Church is in, go to the North Georgia Conference Website through this link, http://www.ngumc.org/districts/

    Step 4: Payment Information

This online system accepts Visa, Mastercard and Discover. You will be required to make the minimum deposit in order to be registered for camp. Until the deposit is made, your camper will not hold a spot during your selected week. If you register after May 1st, full payment is required to register.

    • $50 Day Camps: Johns Creek UMC, Birmingham UMC, Dahlonega
    • $100 Mini Camps - Village, Outpost and Sparrowwood
    • $100 for Village one-week camps
    • $100 for Sparrowwood one-week camps
    • $100 for Adventure Outpost one-week camps
    • $200 for Village two-week camps
    • $250 for LIT program

Payment Plan: If you would like to pay through an automatic payment plan, please answer "yes" on the camper profile page during online registration.  Once we have received your completed registration, we will set up your payment plan to charge your credit card over an equal time period until the final payment is due on May 1st.*
*Please Note:  All balances are due in full by May 1, 2010.

    Late Arrival or Early Departure
All of our camps start on Sunday and go through Tuesday (for our Mini Camps) or through Friday for our one-week and two-week camps.  Neither late arrivals and early departures are allowed.  Both removing a camper from their living group early and adding a camper after the week has begun are disruptive to the group process and to the other eleven campers in the group.  If you know that your camper cannot attend the entire week, please select a different camp week.

"The Miner's Shack" Camp Store  (Not applicable to Day Camps)

New for Summer 2010!  Finally - a cashless* camp store at Glisson!  You can now deposit money into a store account for your camper online during registration.  You may also choose to deposit to your camper's store account at anytime after registration until your camper comes to camp.  If you would prefer to mail a check or cash for your camper's store account prior to the camp week, please include your campers name and the session that he or she is attending.  Each camper will go to the camp store with their living group more than once during the week.

*Please Note:  If your camper brings cash to camp, they will not be able to use it.

    Release Agreements

Transfer PolicyAfter registering, campers may transfer to a different camp session for a $25.00 fee prior to 30 days before the opening day of their initial camp session.  No transfers may be made less than 30 days prior to the session.
