Bradley McEntyre


Bradley McEntyre  
Director/Manager
 

Bradley rejoined the Glisson staff in 2010. As Director/Manager, he is responsible for Glisson's overall operations and the direction of its camping programs. Bradley has been a part of the Glisson family his entire life. He was a summer camper in the 1980’s and 90’s, on summer staff in the 90’s and was Glisson’s first full-time Program Director from 1995-1999. Before rejoining the Glisson team, Bradley spent ten years operating his own business and is a licensed realtor and contractor. He and his wife Emily have four children: Cam, Ethan, Davis and Lainey. Adam Buchanan


 
Maintenance Assistant
 

Adam joined the Glisson staff in May 2014. As a maintenance team member, Adam is responsible for working to keep all facilities at Glisson in their best shape. Adam enjoys all outdoor activities including rock climbing, kayaking, and fly fishing. Adam lives in Dahlonega with his wife, Amy, and daughters, Charlotte and Chloe. 

 

 

 

 

Blake Corbin


 
Maintenance Assistant
 

Blake joined the Glisson staff in July 2015. As a maintenance team member, Blake is responsible for working to keep all facilities at Glisson in their best shape. Prior to his time at Glisson, Blake worked in commercial construction. Blake enjoys many outdoor activities but can most often be found camping or fishing with his family. Blake lives in Dahlonega with his wife, Shana, and sons, Hank, Bo, and Gus. 

 

 

 

David Stubblefield

Director of Facilities Services
 

David joined the Glisson staff in 1995 and has served as Director of Facilities Services since 1998. He is responsible for all building and ground maintenance, as well as housekeeping. In addition to coordinating maintenance activities, David also serves on rotation as host to retreat groups - making sure the retreat experience is as smooth as possible, allowing groups to hear God's still, small voice during their retreats on this holy ground. Emily Luke


 
Hospitality Coodinator
 

Emily joined the Glisson staff in May 2016.  Emily was a long time Glisson summer camper, a Village counselor in 2013, and a Village Section Leader 2014 and 2015. She is a graduate of UGA with a degree in Middle School Education. As Hospitality Coordinator, Emily loves that she can bridge her passion for encouraging children and youth with the welcoming Christian community found at Glisson. Emily lives with her husband, Fish, and their dog, Margot in the quaint mountain town of Dahlonega. Contact: emily@glisson.org

 

 

 

 

Kim Bell

Program Director: Residential Camps
 

Kim rejoined the Glisson staff in 2011. She was a long-time camper and summer staffer, serving as a counselor in 1993 and 1995 and a section leader in 1996. Prior to her current position, Kim served as Conference Youth Coordinator for the North Georgia Conference for four years. As Program Director over Village and Sparrowwood, Kim works closely with the Program Team to coordinate Glisson's summer camp programs. Lacey Rich


Lacey  
Business Manager & Camper Coordinator
 

Lacey re-joined the Glisson staff in 2008. She was a summer camper as a 4th, 5th and 6th grader from 1992 through 1994, then served as a Village Counselor in the summer of 2004. Lacey graduated from Reinhardt College in 2005 with her Bachelor's degree, then spent the next three years in management positions with a dental practice and a restaurant group.  As Business Manager & Camper Coordinator, Lacey is responsible for Glisson's business operations and bookkeeping as well as managing camper registrations. Shirley Chastain


Shirley  
Guest Services Manager
 

Shirley has been on the Glisson staff since 1976. She managed Glisson's business operations and kept the books for many years. As Guest Services Director, Shirley now serves as the primary contact for retreat guests and handles all retreat reservations and logistics. Though some might see such a role as an "office job," Shirley is passionate about Glisson's ministry and the difference it makes in the lives of children and youth. Stephen Ward


Stephen Ward  
Program Director: Adventure Camps
 

Stephen served on summer staff as an Outpost Counselor in 2009, an Outpost Trip Leader in 2010, and an Outpost Co-Director in 2011. Stephen graduated from Kennesaw State University in May 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in History, married his wife Ellen in July 2012, and then began a year-long internship with Glisson that he completed in July 2013. In August 2013, Stephen became Glisson's first-ever, year-round Program Director specifically focused on our expanding Outpost program. Conference Camping Staff


North Georgia Camp & Retreat MinistriesNorth Georgia Camp & Retreat Ministries is a family of ministries including Glisson, Grow Day Camps, and the Experiential Leadership Institute (ELI). C. Russell Davis

Russell joined the Glisson staff as Director/Manager in 2007, a role he served in until 2012. He has served the local church in youth ministry, student pastor, appointed and beyond the local church capacities for almost 30 years. In his 21 years in camping and retreat ministry, Russell has served camps in the Virginia, Oklahoma and South Carolina annual conferences prior to coming home to North Georgia. As Director of NGCRM, Russell's duties include overall responsibility for camp and retreat ministries for the North Georgia Conference. He is married to Rebecca who is a fundraiser and nonprofit executive. They have two college-age children: Sam, at the University of North Georgia, and Libby, at the University of South Carolina. Contact: russell@ngcrm.org

 

 

 

Cameron Jones

Director of Emerging Ministries
 

Some people collect baseball cards; Cameron collects camp job titles, apparently. After multiple summers as a Glisson camper and then counselor in '05, Cameron came back to camp in '08 and never really left: Challenge Course Director in '08, Program Intern from '08-'09, Day Camp Director in '09, Project Manager from '09-10, Worship & Media Coordinator in '11, and then Director of Communication & New Initiatives from '11-13. As Director of Emerging Ministries, Cameron is now responsible for shepherding camp ministry expansion programs until they reach sustainability. Next up is developing a portable sleep-away camp that will pilot in 2017 and launch in 2018. Cameron also serves as the communications coordinator for the NGCRM family of ministries (Glisson, Grow Day Camps, Experiential Leadership Institute). Cameron is married to Britt who is a dietitian at DeKalb Medical. They live in Decatur with their son, Eli, and are active members of Decatur First UMC. Contact: cameron@ngcrm.org

 

 

Stephanie Gaines

Director of Grow Day Camps + ELI
 

Stephanie joined the year-round NGCRM team in 2015 after multiple years on summer staff with Glisson, Grow, and ELI. She served on Glisson's summer leadership team for four summers ('09,'10, '12, '13), then joined Grow Day Camps and ELI as a Program Director for the '14 and '15 summers. Stephanie's role with NGCRM includes coordinating all aspects of Grow Day Camps and the Experiential Leadership Institute (ELI). Prior to her role at NGCRM, Stephanie taught high school science and Spanish in North Carolina and Georgia and served for a year with a ministry organization in Kenya.
