Glisson is a life-changing ministry. Since 1925, thousands of people have attended summer camp and year-round retreats and experienced God's love through Christian community and Creation. Neither the place nor the ministry could exist, however, without the involvement of alumni, camper parents, Glisson ambassadors at local churches, and others who love Glisson and ask "How can I get involved?" This page is all about answering that question.

Glisson's long-term sustainability is in the hands of our supporters. Fees paid by summer campers and retreat groups – alongside apportionment support from North Georgia United Methodist Churches – cover the direct costs of day-to-day operations, but do not address the long-term sustainability or growth of our ministries. Facility improvements, program enhancements and financial assistance for campers in need are all examples of how your gifts to Glisson continue to offer spiritual experiences for campers and retreat groups to meet Christ face-to-face on this holy ground.

"It was great! It was my first year, and I was very happy that I got to do some amazing activities. I was a little scared on the high elements course, but I did it (and I am glad I did)!"
